Mediobanca “Vincenzo Maranghi” Historical Archive

New website for the Historical Archive dedicated to the memory of Vincenzo Maranghi opened to the public

The website will be open for access as from tomorrow, 31 January 2013. As well as bringing together information previously included in various sections of Mediobanca’s institutional website, the archive website contains new items that should be of use to those with an interest in banks, the economy and historical figures. The windows generally contain a description of their subject (history of Mediobanca, leading figures, buildings and publications) plus a variety of largely unpublished materials that may be downloaded free of charge.

Work is ongoing to collect, digitalize and catalogue the documents. This is a long-term project, which in the course of the next few years will see confidential cases and documents relating to affairs ended more than forty years ago gradually being made available via the internet.
