Career to date/Current position
Joined Mediobanca on 1 April 1987 in a clerical capacity, working in the Lending division which subsequently became the Lending and structured finance area. He has spent his entire career at Mediobanca, taking on positions of increasing responsibility until being appointed Head of the Lending, his current position. He is also responsible for supervising the Bank’s international activities.
From 2003 to 2006 he served as Co-Head of the Coverage and Corporate Finance Division.
Promoted to the rank of officer on 1 July 1991 and manager on 1 July 1996, appointed Deputy Central Manager on 1 April 1998 and Central Manager on 1 April 1999.
He has been Deputy General Manager since March 2006, and a member of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca since October 2008.
