Mediobanca launches structured bond issue

On 12 July 2001 Consob authorised the listing of the Mediobanca 2001-2006 Triple Option structured bond issue totalling ? 726,800,000.

The paper was placed between 11 June and 12 July with settlement on 17 July.

Speedy processing of the documentation by Mediobanca has enabled Borsa Italiana to authorise trading to start on the day after settlement day, i.e. 18 July, to the benefit of all the subscribers, allowing them to trade the bonds immediately on the official market at transparent prices.

Borsa Italiana had cleared the issue for listing on 5 July.
