RCS sells bookstore chain to Feltrinelli

The RCS group has sold its RCS Libri chain of bookshops to Feltrinelli, with the exception of the shops in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the RCS offices and Palazzo Grassi in Venice. The deal covers all bookstores operating under the Rizzoli, Rizzoli Store and Finlibri labels, whose sales in 2000 amounted to Lit. 70 bn. The value of the transaction, as advisor to RCS, was Lit. 41 bn inclusive of debt transferred.
