Parmalat S.p.A. finalizes the sale of Lodi dairy business to Newlat S.p.A.

Parmalat S.p.A. gives notice that the sale to Newlat S.p.A. of the dairy (cheese) business located in Lodi has been completed today. Transfer of the assets property will take effect on January 1, 2009. Mediobanca acted as sole financial advisor to Parmalat for the transaction.
