Consumer Credit

The Compass/Linea group is one of the leading Italian independent operators in the consumer credit sector.

In 2008/2009 Compass/Linea granted more than €1m in finance, for total new loans in excess of €3,800m, and a total of over 2 million active clients.

The total number of direct branches is now 146, with an additional 37,000 points of sale at commercial outlets both in the automotive industry and other specific purposes segment, plus 60 partnerships with banks, with a total of over 6,000 points of sale at bank branches, and 13 insurance partnerships, with a total network of over 4,000 agencies.

The overall market share for the combined entity is 6.5% based on Assofin data as at 30 June 2008.
